    HONG KONG: China’s International Minister Wang Yi mentioned Beijing stands on the aspect of worldwide guidelines on US-imposed tariffs and opposes protectionism, the International Ministry on Saturday (Apr 26).

    Talking on the sidelines of a China-Central Asia overseas ministers assembly in Kazakhstan, Wang mentioned Beijing would search solidarity with different nations on the tariff scenario and exposes “excessive egoism” and the bullying of sure nations, the ministry mentioned in a press release.

    US President Donald Trump asserted in an interview printed on Friday that tariff negotiations had been below approach with China, however Beijing denied any talks had been going down, the most recent in a collection of conflicting alerts over what progress was being made to de-escalate a commerce battle threatening to sap international development.

    Wang, assembly with Uzbekistan International Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, mentioned China would search solidarity with different nations and would uphold multilateralism to “inject stability into the world”.
