Jayson Tatum is attempting to take the excessive highway within the rising public drama between him and former teammate Jaylen Brown.
Tatum was requested about Brown’s current social media exercise following the Celtics’ 107-103 win over the Knicks on Friday and tried to downplay any pressure between him and Brown.
He stated their relationship was nothing just like the notorious feud between Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, and stated their accomplishments collectively deserved to be celebrated.
“All y’all form of noticed us develop up. Every little thing we completed, I don’t need that to be within the rearview mirror of what’s being talked about when it pertains to us two. It needs to be celebrated,” Tatum stated. “You know the way many individuals play on this league and by no means make it to the Finals. We went twice and received a championship. It needs to be extra about that. This ain’t no f—ing Shaq and Kobe. There’s no beef. It’s not about that. It needs to be extra reward.”
