LONDON: British overseas minister Ed Miliband mentioned on Thursday (Oct 8) its Consulate Basic constructing in East Jerusalem, ordered to shut by Israel, would stay open as an unbiased and operational UK Mission, serving the Palestinian folks.
Israel had ordered the British consulate in East Jerusalem to shut on Thursday after London introduced plans to impose sanctions on settlements within the West Financial institution.
Miliband mentioned that having withdrawn a variety of workers and households in current weeks, it could now work to construct up their presence once more.
