    Belgian diamond group that won tariff relief gifted Trump a lavishly encrusted ring

    RING’S VALUE ESTIMATED AT US$25,000-US$35,000

    To forge the ring, the AWDC turned to David Gotlib, an Antwerp-based high-end jeweller whose cufflinks can promote for greater than 15,000 euros (US$17,000).

    Neither AWDC nor Gotlib would offer a valuation of the ring, however two impartial jewellers instructed AP they estimated the worth between US$25,000 and US$35,000.

    Paris- and London-based jewellry guide Alexander Levinson calculated the price at US$25,928, whereas David Saad, a third-generation luxurious jeweller in Canada, priced the ring between US$33,000 and US$35,000. Each stated half the price was in supplies, half in labour.

    After the ring was offered on a star-spangled stage in Brussels, musician Alexis Wilkins, the girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, sang the US nationwide anthem to greater than 8,000 folks consuming Budweiser and bourbon from Tennessee and Kentucky.

    White stated he raised greater than US$5.5 million for the 250th anniversary occasion from company sponsors like protection business titans Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, tech companies like Intel, Google and Meta, in addition to the European chocolate firms Leonidas and Ferrero.
