Australian police mentioned on Tuesday (Feb 24) they’d discovered human stays believed to be these of an aged grandfather kidnapped in a case of mistaken identification.

Police have described it as a case of mistaken identification and have pressured that neither Baghsarian nor his household have any underworld connections.

A prolonged search yielded on Tuesday the invention of human stays close to a golf membership within the suburb of Pitt City, police mentioned.

“We suspect these stays to be Mr Baghsarian,” New South Wales Theft and Critical Crime Squad Commander Andrew Marks instructed journalists.

Baghsarian’s household are “deeply upset”, he added, condemning the “recklessness” of the abductors.

“We’re all outraged this could occur to an harmless man and… we’ll proceed to research to establish these accountable and convey them earlier than the courts,” he mentioned.

Police had not but been capable of positively establish the stays, and a forensic examination will likely be wanted, he pressured.

Movies and pictures obtained by native media have reportedly confirmed Baghsarian with severe accidents, together with a severed finger.

The octogenarian was a widower and lived alone.

Police consider his kidnappers have been as an alternative focusing on a relative of a convicted armed robber and founding father of a streetwear model linked to the west Sydney-based Alameddine crime community, the Sydney Morning Herald has reported.
