Instead of advertising, State Farm should be helping its customers

To the editor: I’m glad Insurance coverage Commissioner Ricardo Lara is investigating State Farm (“Angry homeowners and a state probe. What went wrong with State Farm’s L.A. fire response,” July 7). We misplaced our dwelling to the wildfires and have listened to many Zoom calls the place we heard horrific tales from fireplace victims being mistreated by their insurers.

Two options: I feel somebody wants to have a look at the advert {dollars} State Farm spends. It looks like that cash can be higher spent serving to victims and never passing on 17% worth will increase to its clients.

Secondly, I want that each one the insurance coverage corporations wouldn’t require us to stock each piece of misplaced property. This can be a ridiculous and arduous demand and almost unattainable. If these corporations insured us for our contents, then they clearly knew as a lot as they wanted to about what we owned and gladly took our insurance coverage premiums over time.
