    Why has Iran stepped up its deportation of Afghan refugees? | Refugees News

    1000’s are being compelled to return to Afghanistan as Tehran tightens controls on immigration.

    For many years, tens of thousands of Afghans – who’ve fled conflict and poverty and sought a greater future – have crossed into neighbouring Iran.

    Tehran has largely been lenient in the direction of members of this group. However lately, Iranians appear to have grown uninterested in internet hosting them – and sentiment in the direction of international nationals has hardened.

    The Iranian authorities has responded by expelling undocumented individuals. These being compelled out don’t have any alternative however to return to the nation they escaped from.

    Whereas the Taliban authorities is welcoming returning Afghans, what sort of life awaits them, and what can the worldwide group do to assist?
