To the editor: The rising divide between Silicon Valley executives and staff is a warning signal flashing pink for consciousness (“Political divide in Silicon Valley: As many tech leaders embrace Trump, their workforce has not,” April 13). Tech leaders leaning into President Trump’s agenda danger extra hurt than something. Staff are feeling undervalued and indifferent from tech trade visions that promised an rising union that caters to innovation and collaboration.

This disconnect threatens the tech tradition, setting up imbalances the place innovation suffers and productiveness fails. Firms should see the motion of a collaborative tradition that attends to the wants of staff inside these industries. Management accountability and inclusivity mark a steadiness of accountability wanted for progress within the office.

It’s time for Silicon Valley to see that ethics and unity are important options within the expertise neighborhood. Ignoring the issues for political expediency reveals neglect for staff in every single place.
