Spring breakers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, held unlawful boxing matches over the weekend – with cryptocurrency bets.
A bystander who recorded the seashore boxing matches advised NBC Miami that he noticed college students working towards a circle of individuals on the seashore and overheard bystanders taking bets with crypto.
“Why aren’t they enjoying soccer? One thing that isn’t going to get folks injured,” Joshua Pettus advised NBC Miami.
“I began listening to someone taking bets they usually have been doing it with crypto,” Pettus stated.
Pettus stated he started recording after he noticed spring breakers placed on boxing gloves.
“Boxing gloves got here out, the ring bought greater, and I knew the struggle was going to begin,” Pettus stated.
Women and men participated within the boxing matches. Women in bikinis placed on boxing gloves and threw punches at one another as the gang cheered them on.
Fort Lauderdale Police broke up the fights.
“Fort Lauderdale Police witnessed and broke up two incidents on the seashore and the gang complied each occasions with out additional points.
