To the editor: It was nice to learn Steve Lopez’s column concerning the activist pushback on what is going on across the local weather disaster (“We don’t need AI to threaten the future of humanity. We’ve got Trump’s climate policies,” Sept. 19). I want there have been extra reporting prefer it. The small and massive actions that people and teams are arising with to take a stand in opposition to the insurance policies and actions of this administration want consideration so the pushback momentum can swell.

I swear day by day I learn the paper, it looks like that Don McLean “American Pie” music: “Unhealthy information on the doorstep, I couldn’t take yet another step.” So many individuals inform me they will’t or gained’t take heed to or learn the information anymore; it’s too disheartening. The day by day barrage of legislative cowardice and company avarice has turn out to be a bad-news deluge. I’m positive we’re being hammered with it by the White Home to maintain us all feeling hopeless in order that even voting gained’t assist.

Thanks for this. However extra can be even higher.
