Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian departed Tehran for the United Nations Common Meeting in New York on Tuesday, the nation’s semi-official media shops stated, telling reporters he would “defend our positions with energy.”
Referring to the continued battle with the U.S. and the standoff centered on the Strait of Hormuz, Pezeshkian stated, “Nations can’t be compelled into submission by way of pressure,” as quoted by the semi-official Tasnim Information Company.
Iranian International Minister Abbas Araghchi will even be a part of Tehran’s delegation, having already arrived in New York on Monday, in keeping with state media.
