An 8-year-old boy died after getting hit by a falling tree at a YMCA camp in Massachusetts, authorities mentioned.
The little boy and an grownup have been struck by the tree at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday at Camp Chickami in Wayland, a suburb of Boston, in response to the Wayland Police Division and Wayland Fireplace Division.
The boy was taken by medical helicopter to Massachusetts Common Hospital the place he was later pronounced lifeless, the officers mentioned.
