    2 students arrested for making threats to ‘shoot up’ a Texas high school: Police

    Two college students have been taken into custody after making threats to “shoot up” a Texas highschool, based on police.

    A Clemens Excessive College college useful resource officer was contacted by college directors on Thursday, who reported two male college students making terroristic threats final week, based on the Schertz Police Division.

    Throughout the investigation, it was revealed that one scholar had expressed a want to “shoot up the college,” though he didn’t have any firearms, police mentioned.

    A second scholar urged he “may present the weapons,” police mentioned.

    A 3rd scholar then reported these threats to highschool directors and video proof was obtained to help a terroristic menace cost, based on police.

    Each college students had been taken into custody for making terrorist threats, a third-degree felony in Texas, police mentioned.

    The boys had been transported to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Middle.

    “We wish to categorical our gratitude to the scholar who got here ahead to report the threats, and we acknowledge the college administration for his or her collaborative efforts throughout this investigation,” police mentioned in a press release.

    Schertz is positioned simply northeast of San Antonio.

    The arrests got here simply in the future after two younger college students had been killed and 18 different individuals injured during a mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic College in Minneapolis. The suspect died on scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
