LONDON — Two easyJet planes clipped wings on the runway at Manchester Worldwide Airport in the UK on Friday morning, officers mentioned.
A spokespeson for Manchester Airport confirmed to ABC Information that “two easyJet planes clipped wings as they taxied on the airfield” and a short lived floor cease was ordered instantly after the planes made contact with one another.
“We suspended operations briefly whereas they had been assessed to see if they may taxi again to a stand, which they may so operations resumed after a couple of minutes,” the airport spokesperson mentioned.
There have been no experiences of any accidents following the incident and authorities on the airport are at the moment investigating.
“EasyJet is dealing with preparations for passengers affected,” officers mentioned.
