    100 intelligence staffers to be fired for engaging in explicit chats: Gabbard

    Greater than 100 intelligence group workers might be terminated and have their safety clearances revoked because the intelligence group investigates group chats that allegedly mentioned specific conduct, officers mentioned.

    The chats, which had been hosted on a chat system for the intelligence group that was maintained by the Nationwide Safety Company, happened on a safe intranet referred to as Intelink in two server channels titled “LBTQA” and “IC_Pride_TWG,” in line with intelligence group officers.

    “This conduct is unacceptable and people concerned WILL be held accountable,” Director of Nationwide Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard posted on X.

Deadline: Friday.”

    Gabbard, in an interview on Fox Information, mentioned on Tuesday: “There are over 100 folks from throughout the intelligence group that contributed to and took part on this — what is absolutely simply an egregious violation of belief, what to talk of, like, primary guidelines and requirements round professionalism. I put out a directive right now that all of them might be terminated and their safety clearances might be revoked.”
