    LONDON — A passenger aircraft carrying dozens of individuals was reported lacking Thursday morning in Russia’s far jap Amur area, the native governor mentioned.

    The Russian information company Interfax reported that the aircraft’s wreckage had been discovered round 9 miles from its supposed vacation spot within the city of Tynda, having traveled from the regional hub of Blagoveshchensk some 360 miles away.

    Artem Korenyako — a spokesperson for Russia’s federal aviation company Rosaviatsiya — wrote on Telegram {that a} search and rescue helicopter “found a burning fuselage.” He added, “Rescuers are heading to the scene.”

    Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Conditions additionally reported the invention of burning wreckage in a submit to Telegram.
