Virginia Giuffre, the girl who accused late intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, died by suicide, her household introduced on Friday.
“It’s with completely damaged hearts that we announce that Virginia handed away final night time at her farm in Western Australia. She misplaced her life to suicide, after being a lifelong sufferer of sexual abuse and intercourse trafficking,” her household’s assertion stated.
“The sunshine of her life have been her youngsters Christian, Noah, and Emily. It was when she held her new child daughter in her arms that Virginia realized she needed to struggle again towards those that had abused her and so many others,” the assertion continued.
Giuffre and Epstein settled a civil lawsuit for $500,000 in 2009.

Giuffre had alleged that Epstein trafficked her to Prince Andrew, who she claimed took benefit of and sexually abused her when she was below 18.
Prince Andrew had repeatedly denied the allegation and attacked Giuffre’s credibility and motives.
Giuffre filed a lawsuit towards Prince Andrew in 2021, accusing the embattled royal of sexually abusing her at Epstein’s Manhattan mansion and elsewhere in 2001, when she was below the age of 18, in line with the criticism.

Prince Andrew agreed to settle the sexual assault lawsuit from Giuffre in 2022, with out admitting to wrongdoing.

Maxwell was convicted in 2021 on 5 of six counts associated to the abuse and trafficking of underage women and was sentenced to a 20-year jail time period.
Giuffre was not known as as a witness throughout Maxwell’s trial, and Maxwell has constantly denied all wrongdoing.
