WASHINGTON: US Home Speaker Mike Johnson mentioned on Tuesday (Oct 28) he had mentioned the boundaries of the US Structure with President Donald Trump, and that there was not sufficient time to amend the founding doc to permit the Republican a 3rd White Home time period.
Trump, 79, on Monday declined to definitively say he would not seek a third term, protecting alive hypothesis about how he would possibly search to increase his time in workplace.
“It has been an excellent run. However I feel the president is aware of, and he and I’ve talked about, the constrictions of the Structure,” Johnson advised reporters on Capitol Hill, including that he had most lately talked to Trump an hour in the past throughout the president’s Asia journey.
