    Ukraine hits major oil terminal in southern Russia: Moscow

    MOSCOW: Ukrainian drones attacked the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s marine terminal in southern Russia early Monday (Apr 6), damaging a mooring level and setting 4 oil tanks ablaze, the Russian defence ministry mentioned.

    The CPC pipeline handles round one per cent of the world’s oil provides, in addition to round 80 per cent of Kazakhstan’s oil exports.

    The Ukrainian military mentioned it had attacked a distinct terminal within the port of Novorossiysk, with out mentioning the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

    The CPC didn’t instantly remark.

    Throughout the night time, Ukraine “intentionally attacked services of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium worldwide oil transportation firm,” the Russian defence ministry mentioned.
