    Two killed as police officer’s son opens fire at US university

    MIAMI: Two males have been killed in a mass capturing at a college in Florida, allegedly carried out by the son of a neighborhood deputy sheriff along with her outdated service weapon, police within the southeastern United States state stated on Thursday (Apr 17).

    5 individuals have been wounded when the gunman, recognized as Phoenix Ikner, rampaged via Florida State College (FSU), capturing at college students, earlier than he was shot by native regulation enforcement.

    Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil informed reporters Ikner was a scholar on the college and the son of an “distinctive” 18-year member of his workers.

    Witnesses spoke of chaos as individuals started operating via the sprawling campus as pictures rang out close to the scholar union.

    “Everybody simply began operating out of the scholar union,” a witness named Wayne informed native information station WCTV.

    The witness stated he noticed one man who appeared to have been shot within the midsection.

    “All the things was actually quiet, then all chaotic.”
