    Tufts PhD student on visa arrested by immigration authorities, school says

    A Tufts College PhD scholar on a visa was arrested by immigration authorities outdoors of Boston on Tuesday evening, in line with the college and the scholar’s lawyer.

    The coed, Rumeysa Ozturk, is a Turkish nationwide, in line with her lawyer, Mahsa Khanbabai.

    Ozturk is listed within the ICE database as “in custody” and seems to be held at an ICE processing heart in Basile, Louisiana.
