To the editor: President Trump’s Purple Scare-esque memo is misguided (“In Trump’s ‘domestic terrorism’ memo, some see blueprint for vengeance that echoes history,” Sept. 27). We, the folks, should be alert to schemes of self-serving politicians chipping away at our proper to talk out in opposition to them.
Trump is the chief orator on this regard. From what I’ve seen, he has no real interest in serving the general public good. He serves himself. I wish to know in regards to the individuals who attempt to counter him.

To the editor: This text may have been titled “Democrats decide up on Joseph McCarthy’s techniques.” Which occasion is throwing out labels like “dictator,” “fascist,” “Nazi,” “Hitler,” “Mussolini,” and so forth., when referring to Trump and his administration?

To the editor: It’s no shock that the present administration is framing antifa, Black Lives Matter and even the Democratic Celebration as extremist organizations and as enemies of the folks. Roy Cohn was Trump’s mentor. Cohn was McCarthy’s chief counsel through the Purple Scare hearings. That is merely historical past repeating itself and within the worst means.
