President Donald Trump is scheduled on Monday to host El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, for a bilateral assembly on the White Home.
Trump early on Sunday instructed reporters he thought Bukele was doing a “improbable job” and “taking good care of lots of issues that we’ve got that we actually would not be capable of handle from a price standpoint.”

Because the second Trump administration has cracked down on immigration, El Salvador has accepted into its custody tons of of alleged gang members. Many are housed within the nation’s Terrorism Confinement Heart, a maximum-security facility for El Salvador’s most hardened criminals.
“We’ve some very unhealthy folks in that jail, folks that ought to have by no means been allowed into our nation, those who homicide drug sellers, among the worst folks on Earth are in that jail and he is in a position to do this,” Trump stated on Sunday.
