Trump celebrated the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFL championship on the White Home on Monday and endorsed the group’s controversial “tush push” play — or “Brotherly Shove” — amid debates on whether or not it needs to be banned.
The president in his Tremendous Bowl pregame interview with Fox Information picked the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs to win over the Eagles. However he appeared to now be a Philly fan, going into nice element in regards to the Eagles’ season and run by the playoffs.

“The Eagles scored a landing on their signature play, the ‘tush push,'” Trump mentioned, referencing the group’s NFC championship sport towards the Washington Commanders, later including, “I hope they preserve that play, Coach,” he mentioned to Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni.
“You already know they’re speaking about eliminating that play, I perceive. They need to preserve it, what do you assume Saquon?” Trump continued, turning to working again Saquon Barkley. “I prefer it. It is form of thrilling and totally different.”

There have been a number of notable absences from the celebration, together with quarterback Jalen Hurts, star huge receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and not too long ago retired defensive finish Brandon Graham.
Although Hurts was absent, Trump had optimistic feedback about him, saying the quarterback “had an awesome season and an awesome sport.”
