    Tech company Astronomer launches investigation into ‘kiss cam’ moment at Coldplay concert

    The employer of a CEO reportedly seen in a viral “kiss cam” second at a latest Coldplay live performance says it’s launching an investigation into the incident.

    Astronomer, a New York Metropolis-based information firm, stated in a press release Friday {that a} “formal investigation” has been launched by its board of administrators.

    “Astronomer is dedicated to the values and tradition which have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are anticipated to set the usual in each conduct and accountability,” the corporate stated in a press release shared on LinkedIn. “The Board of Administrators has initiated a proper investigation into this matter and we can have extra particulars to share very shortly.”

    The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, was recognized by on-line commenters earlier this week as allegedly in a video that went viral on social media displaying a person and a girl ducking to cover their faces after they have been proven with their arms round one another on the Jumbotron at a July 16 Coldplay live performance in Boston.

    The video, which now has over 55 million views on TikTok, exhibits Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin offering a play-by-play to the viewers of the pair’s reactions to being spotlighted on the Jumbotron.

    “Oh, have a look at these two. Alright, come on, you are OK. Uh oh, what?” Martin will be heard saying as the 2 cover their faces. “Both they’re having an affair or they’re simply very shy. I am not fairly certain.”

    The video rapidly grew to become a subject for web sleuths who tried to determine the person and girl within the video, neither of whom have recognized themselves publicly.

    Astronomer named its CEO, Byron, in its assertion Friday, noting that experiences Byron had issued a press release concerning the incident have been false.

    “Andy Byron has not put out any assertion, experiences saying in any other case are all incorrect,” the corporate stated.

    The corporate additionally stated that no different Astronomer staff have been within the “kiss cam” video.
