    Small plane crashes in Minneapolis suburb, FAA says

    A small airplane touring from Iowa crashed in a Minneapolis, Minnesota, suburb Saturday, investigators stated.

    The Federal Aviation Administration stated the SOCATA TBM7 crashed in a residential space in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, round 12:20 p.m. native time.

    Brooklyn Park Hearth Chief Shawn Conway stated that after reviewing the scene, they don’t imagine that anybody on the airplane survived after it crashed into a house within the Brooklyn Park suburb. The variety of these on board remains to be unknown.

    Firefighters have been on the scene preventing a serious fireplace on the crash website and at the least one dwelling caught fireplace, in line with ABC affiliate KTSP.

    The entire residents of the house are secure, the fireplace chief stated.

    The airplane departed from Des Moines Worldwide Airport in Iowa and was headed to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis, the FAA stated.

    Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said on X that he’s conscious of the crash and is monitoring the state of affairs.

    “My staff is in contact with native officers on the scene in Brooklyn Park, and we’re monitoring the state of affairs intently,” he stated. “Grateful to the primary responders answering the decision.”

    The Nationwide Transportation Security Board will lead the investigation and work with the FAA.

    “NTSB investigators are en path to the scene and are anticipated to reach tomorrow. As soon as on website, the investigators will start the method of documenting the scene and inspecting the plane. The plane will then be recovered to a safe facility for additional analysis,” the NTSB stated in an announcement.
