    Singapore sends condolences to US over Washington air crash

    SINGAPORE: Singapore on Friday (Jan 31) expressed its condolences to america over the collision of a passenger plane and a military helicopter in Washington that left 67 folks lifeless.

    Singapore’s Ministry of International Affairs (MFA) additionally stated on Friday that there have up to now been no studies of Singaporeans being impacted by the incident.

    “The Singapore authorities conveys its deepest condolences to the US authorities and to the households and family members of those that have perished within the tragic air crash between American Airways Flight 5342 and a US Military Black Hawk helicopter close to Reagan Nationwide Airport on Jan 29, 2025,” an MFA spokesperson stated in an announcement.

    “The Singapore embassy in Washington DC is in touch with US authorities. So far, there are not any studies of Singaporeans affected on this accident.”
