    President Donald Trump stated Saturday he believes Iran is negotiating “significantly” with the U.S., stressing that he hopes an “acceptable” deal might be brokered.

    The president’s feedback had been made as he reportedly weighs choices on a possible military strike on Iran amid widespread protests and a violent crackdown within the nation.

    When requested by a reporter aboard Air Pressure One whether or not he had selected a strike in opposition to Iran, Trump responded, “I actually cannot inform you that.”

    “However we do have very big, powerful ships heading in that course,” he added. “I hope they negotiate one thing that is acceptable.”

    The president then sidestepped a query about whether or not Tehran could be emboldened if the U.S. opted to not launch strikes on Iran, saying, “Some individuals suppose that. Some individuals don’t.”

    “You possibly can make a negotiated deal that may be passable with no nuclear weapons,” Trump stated. “They need to do this, however I do not know that they are going to. However they’re speaking to us. Severely speaking to us.”

    Trump has stated the U.S. will not share military plans with Gulf allies whereas negotiating with Iran, whilst U.S. naval forces surge into the area.
