    Police chief speaks out about mysterious murders of Ohio dentist, wife: ‘Disturbing’

    The Columbus, Ohio, police chief is talking out for the primary time because the mysterious murders of dentist Spencer Tepe and his spouse, Monique Tepe.

    The couple was discovered shot to demise of their house on Dec. 30, Columbus police stated. Their two younger kids have been discovered protected inside.

    “This case is certainly disturbing,” Chief Elaine Bryant told Columbus ABC affiliate WSYX.

    Authorities stated they consider the couple was killed between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on their house’s second flooring.

    Earlier this week, police released video of a person of interest. Police stated the video confirmed a person strolling in an alley close to the victims’ home throughout that 2 a.m. to five a.m. timeframe.

    A motive hasn’t been recognized, the chief stated.

    “I do know it is irritating for individuals, I do know they need solutions,” Bryant stated. “As quickly as we’re capable of present extra data, we’ll completely be coming again to speak about that. … However proper now it is untimely for us to have the ability to say what the motive is, or, we do not have a suspect recognized at this level.”

    She added, “We wish to carry some justice to the household.”

    The Tepes’ brother-in-law, Rob Misleh, stated they spent Christmas collectively days earlier than the murders.

    “We did Christmas evening collectively, after which the next day we simply did a, type of, post-Christmas lounging and watching motion pictures and had dinner. And the following morning they left,” he informed ABC Information’ “Good Morning America.” “How would I ever know that might be the final time I might’ve frolicked with Spence like that?”

    “We have been completely blindsided by what occurred,” he stated.

    The Tepes’ household and associates will come collectively on Sunday for a celebration of life service.
