    Nvidia says no ‘backdoors’ in chips as China questions security

    BEIJING: Nvidia chips don’t include “backdoors” permitting distant entry, the US tech big has stated, after Beijing summoned firm representatives to debate “severe security issues“.

    The California-based firm is a world-leading producer of AI semiconductors, and this month grew to become the primary firm to hit US$4 trillion in market worth.

    However it has grow to be entangled in commerce tensions between China and america, and Washington successfully restricts which chips Nvidia can export to China on nationwide safety grounds.
