    “INACCURACIES”

In an announcement, West Midlands Police mentioned on Wednesday: “We’re extraordinarily sorry for the impression these have had on people and their communities.”

“We all know that errors had been made, however reiterate the findings that none of this was completed with an intent of deliberate distortion or discrimination.”

Maccabi followers had been blocked from travelling to the match by the native Security Advisory Group (SAG), which cited security considerations based mostly on recommendation from the police power.

West Midlands Police had categorised the match as “excessive danger”, however the police watchdog discovered eight “inaccuracies” of their recommendation to the SAG, together with a reference to a non-existent sport between Tel Aviv and West Ham, which was an “AI hallucination”.

Guildford apologised to MPs for offering inaccurate proof when he was questioned by them earlier this month.

He had beforehand informed MPs the error was the results of a Google search and denied the power had used synthetic intelligence.

However in a letter to MPs on Wednesday, Guildford admitted the inaccurate data was because of using Microsoft Copilot, an AI chatbot.

The watchdog’s report mentioned different inaccuracies included West Midlands Police “tremendously” exaggerating the issues in Amsterdam in November 2024 after Maccabi followers clashed with locals there, the evaluate mentioned.
