To the editor: Plainly adults with the mindsets of 12-year-old online game gamers are operating our nation (“Trump’s AI poop post caps a week of MAGA indifference to Hitler jokes,” Oct. 21). They’ve the keys to the sweet retailer (and nuclear weapons).
As a collective, we’re descending right into a puerile environment of immaturity, with leaders making jokes about different individuals’s misfortunes and sharing movies that present excrement dropped on 7 million peaceable protesters. If 81% of Republicans suppose the Trump administration is doing an excellent job and agree with the usage of cruelty to conduct authorities enterprise, then we’re misplaced as a rustic.
As a 74-year-old pissed-off grandma, I’ll proceed to struggle towards this descent into cruelty and authoritarianism.
