Letters to the Editor: One possible consequence of President Trump’s cuts to California library funding

To the editor: I grew up loving to go to the library. The attractive North Hollywood department within the park was like a second house. My kids walked there from college with their courses within the ‘80s. I hope President Trump doesn’t kill this expertise for kids or adults (“Trump is slashing library funds. California is a target,” April 30). One consequence that I may think about from his chopping of funds is the doable return of overdue fines, which the Los Angeles Public Library stopped a number of years in the past. I’ll have to seek for a guide my then-5-year-old son borrowed from the Anaheim Hills Library that I forgot to return earlier than we moved again to the Valley 41 years in the past. That tremendous may make up for the cuts!
