To the editor: There’s definitely a lot to admire about Mayor Karen Bass’ reasonably priced housing plan (“L.A. City Council passes ordinance to streamline affordable housing,” Dec. 9).

Nevertheless, there was a giant lacking ingredient within the article: Nowhere is there any dialogue of the prices of the tasks concerned on this plan. Prior to now, city-funded “reasonably priced housing” could also be reasonably priced for the fortunate few who truly dwell within the backed models, however the prices to provide the models had been off-the-charts costly — hundreds of thousands of dollars for every residence.

I’d wish to see a follow-up article on whether or not or not the “reasonably priced housing plan” is definitely reasonably priced for the taxpayers of Los Angeles.
