To the editor: For a few years, a few of us within the Cheviot Hills space of West Los Angeles have seemed longingly towards Culver Metropolis, wishing there was a strategy to change into a part of a metropolis higher capable of present the extent of companies our group deserves (“Why Culver City is the hottest spot for businesses expanding in L.A.,” March 27). Los Angeles, for all its strengths, typically appears stretched too skinny to satisfy these wants.

Maybe it’s merely a lingering dream, born of geography as a lot as anything. Nestled between Fox and Sony Photos, we sit on the fringe of a metropolis that feels each shut and, by way of municipal help, simply out of attain.

Nonetheless, one can’t assist however marvel what could be doable.
