The opinion piece covers the bottom successfully. Fights in hockey typically have a function — to energise a workforce that’s down or underperforming. Why then is President Trump choosing fights together with his neighbor when his workforce already has the sting?
When hockey gamers battle there’s a code — the heavyweights battle the heavyweights and so forth. What this administration is doing is bullying, one thing during which our present president has a substantial amount of expertise and ability.
Hopefully as soon as the battle is over, like good hockey gamers, we are going to shake fingers after which go have a beer collectively.

To the editor: Cavanaugh can’t be severe. Hockey gamers battle — that’s a part of the tradition of the sport. There’s an outdated joke: I went to a battle and a hockey recreation broke out.
Thousands and thousands of viewers who watched Canada and the U.S. play within the 4 Nations Face-Off ultimate on Feb. 20 loved some of the memorable sporting occasions in latest reminiscence.
The true lesson is that the identical gamers and coaches who fought shook fingers, smiled and embraced after the sport in what is without doubt one of the biggest traditions in all of sports activities, the postgame NHL handshake.

It might be fantastic if California, Oregon and Washington state may in some way create a partnership with Canada much like favored nation standing. There could be simpler border entry, honest commerce, diminished taxes and even perhaps reductions on tourism.
