JERUSALEM: The Israeli army on Thursday (Jan 15) mentioned it performed air strikes in opposition to Hezbollah targets shortly after issuing evacuation orders for the village of Sohmor in southern Lebanon.
“In response to Hezbollah’s repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings, the (Israeli army) is hanging Hezbollah terror targets in a number of areas in Lebanon”, the army mentioned in a press release.
Earlier Thursday, the military had warned residents of Sohmor to evacuate sure areas forward of strikes in opposition to Hezbollah targets.
Shortly after the army introduced having struck positions in Lebanon, its Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee warned of a second evacuation order, this time for the south Lebanon village of Machghara.
“The (Israeli army) will assault Hezbollah terrorist army infrastructure within the close to future to deal with prohibited makes an attempt to reconstruct its actions within the space”, Adraee mentioned on X.
