TEHRAN: The navies of Iran, Russia and China will maintain navy drills off the coast of Iran this week in a bid to spice up cooperation, Iranian media reported on Sunday (Mar 9).
The three nations, which share a standard need to counter what they characterise as American hegemony, have held related workout routines within the area lately.
The drills “will start on Tuesday within the port of Chabahar”, situated in southeast Iran on the Gulf of Oman, the Tasnim information company stated, with out specifying their length.
“Warships and fight and help vessels of the Chinese language and Russian naval forces, in addition to the warships of Iran’s naval forces of the military and the Revolutionary Guards”, the ideological arm of Iran’s navy, are anticipated to take part, based on Tasnim.
