Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., and Home Oversight Rating Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., made the request in a letter Friday to representatives of Epstein’s property. “Current public reporting signifies that the Property of Jeffrey Epstein is in possession of a doc generally known as ‘the birthday e book,’ compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003 in celebration of Mr. Epstein’s fiftieth birthday, which has clear relevance to this case,” the letter to Epstein’s representatives acknowledged.
“The e book is related for ongoing congressional oversight of the Division of Justice’s dealing with of the Epstein investigation and prosecution, in addition to the Trump Administration’s determination to declassify and launch solely a handful of paperwork from its Epstein information whereas withholding others from the general public,” the letter acknowledged.
