To the editor: That is completely the worst conduct of any of President Trump’s minions. Laura Loomer has managed to decrease herself to a degree that’s utterly within the gutter by criticizing youngsters from Gaza who arrived within the U.S. with visas for medical therapy (“Trump administration halts visas for people from Gaza,” Aug. 17). If it’s true that she has an affect on the Trump administration, she has made it a lot tougher for kids to obtain medical therapy for what occurs when American-funded bombs are dropped on elementary colleges and hospitals within the title of Israel’s protection.

How have we develop into so indignant with the remainder of the world that we gained’t enable even one little one to be handled pretty when they’re harmed by one thing they’d nothing to do with? Is that this the best way we proclaim our superiority as a world dominator? Can somebody in Congress cease this insanity?

    Nick Aquilino, Los Angeles

    ..

To the editor: For all the overall debasement and twisting of American morals and beliefs the Trump administration has imposed upon our nation, the halting of customer visas for “severely injured youngsters” from Gaza is a brand new low. That the administration apparently takes its marching orders from Loomer, of all folks, shouldn’t be shocking, but it surely nonetheless shocks me.

The reported 15 youngsters and their grownup guardians who had been granted these non permanent visas over the past two weeks with assist from Heal Palestine have been a “nationwide safety risk,” in line with Loomer. Actually? This motion is a sickening shame (to make use of a phrase usually repeated by Trump) that shames everybody related to it, and by extension, all People. Will this cruelty ever cease?
