    The Chelsea striker is cleared of racially aggravated harassment after calling a police officer ‘silly and white’ in 2023.

    Australian ladies’s soccer captain Sam Kerr was discovered not responsible of racially abusing a British police officer after a dispute with a cab driver.

    Kerr, who has Indian ancestry, known as officer Stephen Lovell “silly and white” after police had been known as following a drunken dispute with a cab driver within the early hours of January 30, 2023.

    The 31-year-old, one of many world’s high feminine strikers who performs for Chelsea within the Girls’s Tremendous League (WSL), admitted saying these phrases however denied one rely of racially aggravated harassment.

    Her lawyer argued within the south London courtroom that she was making a remark about energy and privilege, and Kerr gave proof final week that she felt police handled her in a different way due to the color of her pores and skin.

    Kerr was acquitted by a jury on Tuesday after a trial at Kingston Crown Courtroom. She confirmed no emotion within the dock as the decision was delivered.
