An enormous hearth has damaged out at a bazaar in western Tehran, authorities say, sending thick plumes of black smoke over the Iranian capital.
The reason for the blaze on Tuesday morning was not instantly unclear.
The hearth has “to this point resulted in no accidents”, Tehran emergency providers operations commander Mohammad Behnia mentioned.
The blaze began at a market within the Jannat Abad neighbourhood within the west of the capital, an space filled with stalls and retailers, state tv quoted the town’s hearth division as saying.
“The hearth is in depth, to the extent that it’s seen from varied components of Tehran,” Fireplace Division spokesman Jalal Maleki mentioned.
Maleki later mentioned the blaze had been “introduced beneath management” and that “smoke elimination and spot-check operations” have been beneath means, in accordance with Iran’s official IRNA information company.
State tv mentioned firefighters have been dispatched to the positioning instantly to comprise the blaze.
