After JR Motorsports made its NASCAR Cup Collection debut within the 2025 Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt Jr’s staff shall be again for extra in 2026.
On Friday, it was introduced that JRM will subject a Daytona 500 entry for the second yr in a row, with 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Collection champion Justin Allgaier driving the No. 40 Chevrolet and trying to qualify for the 68th operating of the Nice American Race in February.
Allgaier must make the Daytona 500 subject by way of qualifying or by his duel race. The 2026 Daytona 500 is scheduled for Feb. 15.
Allgaier, a veteran of 83 Cup Collection begins, began nineteenth and completed ninth within the 2025 Daytona 500.
