    OTTAWA: New Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Sunday (Mar 23) referred to as a snap election for Apr 28, saying he wanted a powerful mandate to cope with the menace posed by US President Donald Trump, who “needs to interrupt us so America can personal us”.
