    Boat washes ashore near San Diego with 3 dead, 4 survivors and 9 unaccounted for

    Three lifeless our bodies and 4 survivors in want of medical care have been found on a panga boat that washed ashore close to San Diego on Monday morning, in keeping with the U.S. Coast Guard and the Encinitas Fireplace Division.

    9 persons are unaccounted for, the Coast Guard mentioned.

    The boat washed onto a seaside in Del Mar, about 20 miles north of San Diego. A number of native businesses are serving to with the search, officers mentioned.

    “This was a mass casualty incident,” Encinitas Deputy Fireplace Chief Jorge Sanchez mentioned.

    “We do have air sources which are sweeping lateral, north and south of the seaside. … We do have lifeguards within the water on boats and jet skis, and we’ve a number of sources strolling up and down the seaside as nicely, ensuring that nobody is missed,” he mentioned.
