    Berlin downplays risk from German Antifa group targeted by US

    BERLIN: German authorities stated on Friday (Nov 14) that the risk posed by Antifa Ost, a left-wing group designated by Washington as a world terrorist organisation, has sharply diminished following a sequence of arrests and convictions.

    Antifa, quick for “anti-fascist”, is a decentralised motion and not using a clear construction, command hierarchy or chief, in response to a 2020 Congressional Analysis Service report.
