British armed forces on Sunday (Jun 14) intercepted a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker trying to cross by means of the English Channel.
The vessel SMYRTOS was boarded by Royal Marine Commandos and specifically educated legislation enforcement officers from the Nationwide Crime Company, Britain’s Ministry of Defence mentioned in a press release.
The vessel shall be held and monitored off the south coast as investigations proceed, the assertion mentioned, including that enforcement motion in Britain’s territorial waters was carried out in accordance with home and worldwide legislation.
