Three individuals had been discovered useless in a murder-suicide after the shooter expressed suicidal ideas to a member of the family, in line with authorities.
Harrison County deputies responded to a welfare test on Wednesday at a residence in southern Indiana after a Mississippi man reported that his brother expressed suicidal ideas to him in a cellphone name earlier within the day, in line with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Division.
Deputies discovered a useless man on the entrance porch, recognized as 36-year-old Brett Dixon, the sheriff’s division stated.
Contained in the residence, two extra individuals had been discovered useless, Melissa Cochran Dixon, 54, and Paul Dixon, 61, in line with the sheriff’s workplace.

Brett Dixon was shot twice — within the chest and head — Melissa Cochran Dixon suffered a single gunshot wound to the pinnacle and Paul Dixon sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the pinnacle, in line with the sheriff’s workplace.
The sheriff’s workplace stated it believes Paul Dixon is chargeable for the shootings and stated there isn’t a risk to the group and no suspect at massive.
