    Brian Hooker’s boat seized by Coast Guard after wife goes overboard in Bahamas: Sources

    The U.S. Coast Guard has seized the boat utilized by American couple Brian and Lynette Hooker because the investigation continues into Lynette Hooker going overboard and vanishing within the Bahamas, in accordance with sources conversant in the scenario.

    Their boat, known as the “Soulmate,” has been docked within the Bahamas since Lynette Hooker disappeared on April 4.

    It isn’t clear when the boat was seized, nevertheless it was previous to Monday, in accordance with sources.

    Brian Hooker instructed authorities that on the night of April 4, after the couple departed Hope City on their dinghy to move to their yacht, dangerous climate prompted Lynette Hooker to fall off the dinghy and go overboard.

    Brian Hooker was arrested on April 8 and questioned by police. He was released on April 13 with out prices.

    On April 14, Brian Hooker told ABC News that he was staying within the Bahamas with a “sole focus” of discovering his spouse.

    “My solely focus is to return to the boat after which rent or beg folks to assist me go discover some areas to look,” he mentioned.

    However hours after that interview, Brian Hooker left the Bahamas, along with his lawyer saying he wished to be along with his terminally ailing mom.

    Karli Aylesworth, Lynette Hooker’s daughter and Brian Hooker’s stepdaughter, has told ABC News she doubted Brian Hooker’s story.
