The director of the Secret Service praised his employees’s response in the course of the White Home Correspondents’ Affiliation Dinner incident, saying they “carried out admirably.”
“Tonight we noticed precisely what our courageous women and men do every day to guard our protectees,” Director Sean M. Curran stated in a statement launched by the service. “It’s not simple and I’ll let you know that they carried out admirably. We received to see what they do.”
